September 15: RUSADA has finalized its investigation into the Valieva doping issue and documents are now being prepared for hearings. “Given it appears that RUSADA’s investigation is over and the case is now headed to court, they must have found sufficient evidence of a violation or otherwise the case would be closed and WADA would be notified of its right to appeal,” U.S. Anti-Doping CEO Travis Tygart said. The 2023 Skate Canada Challenge has been split into two separate events, with the junior and senior competitions set to take place at the Seven Oaks Arena at the Garden City Community Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Nov. 30 – Dec. 3, 2022. The pre-novice and novice Challenge competition is scheduled for early 2023 (no date confirmed at this time).
