September 16: The ISU announced this afternoon that the Junior Grand Prix event scheduled for Armenia next week will not take place as planned due to the conflict between that nation and Azerbaijan over disputed territory. Read the press release HERE.

September 15: RUSADA has finalized its investigation into the Valieva doping issue and documents are now being prepared for hearings. “Given it appears that RUSADA’s investigation is over and the case is now headed to court, they must have found sufficient evidence of a violation or otherwise the case would be closed and WADA would be notified of its right to appeal,” U.S. Anti-Doping CEO Travis Tygart said. Read the article HERE.

According to this report, the RUSADA investigation into Kamila Valieva’s failed doping test is reaching its final stage. ″RUSADA′s Investigation Department is doing a lot of work to collect information and interview the athlete′s entourage,″ the agency said in a statement.

The 2023 Skate Canada Challenge has been split into two separate events, with the junior and senior competitions set to take place at the Seven Oaks Arena at the Garden City Community Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Nov. 30 – Dec. 3, 2022. The pre-novice and novice Challenge competition is scheduled for early 2023 (no date confirmed at this time).
