TECHNICAL ELEMENT SCORES: 2018-2019/2019-2020/2020-2021

March 2, 2021: The ISU has published the updated Technical Element Score Statistics, which includes those of the skaters that submitted videos to earn the minimums required to compete at the 2021 World Championships. Those who submitted videos have that notation beside their names.

The lists of qualified skaters and alternates for the 2021 World Championships were published on March 2 HERE.
 
 

2020/21 SEASON BEST SCORES

The point totals for the ISU World and Season Standings for the 2019-2020 season as at April 20, 2020. Only eligible skaters/teams qualify for inclusion in the ISU World/Season Standings.

Skaters/teams receive points based on their final placement at an event and the event’s weight over the current and preceding two seasons. The ISU World Standings and Season’s World Rankings are updated after each eligible event. At the end of the season, the rankings from the oldest season in the calculations are deleted.

When pairs and ice dance teams split, those partnerships are removed from the Standings and Rankings. Likewise, when a skater officially announces his or her retirement from competition, the standing and rank of the skater will also be deleted.

2019-2020 WORLD STANDINGS

With a shortened season, the World Standings have a different look to last year. Japan′s Yuzuru Hanyu sits at the top of the leaderboard, 740 points ahead of the second-place finisher, Alexander Samarin of Russia. Nathan Chen, the top American man on the list, finished fourth and Canada’s Keegan Messing ranks 12th.

Rika Kihira of Japan is the top lady on the list with a score that is more than 1,000 points over Bradie Tennell of the U.S., who finished second. Anna Shcherbakova is the highest finisher of the Russian ladies. In pairs, China′s Cheng Peng and Yang Jin top the scoreboard, and Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov of Russia lead the ice dance field.

2019-2020 SEASONS WORLD RANKING

As with the World rankings, Hanyu is at the top of the men’s discipline, with Russia′s Dmitri Aliev and Boyang Jin of China rounding out the top three.

Alena Kostornaia leads the ladies field with Rika Kihira a very close second. Shcherbakova rounds out the top three.

In pairs, China captured the top two spots with Peng and Jin sitting in first on the leaderboard ahead of Wenjing Sui and Cong Han.

IFS June 2020Madison Chock and Evan Bates of the U.S. are ranked No. 1 in ice dance, with Sinitsina and Katsalapov and Canada′s Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier in second and third place, respectively.
