2018 JGP Lithuania
2018 JGP Lithuania (Amber Cup) takes place Sep. 5-8 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Margarita Dobiazko and Povilas Vanagas, the 2000 World ice dance bronze medalists, will be the ambassadors for this event.

Only three disciplines will be contested at this third stop on the circuit — men′s and ladies singles and ice dance. A total of 72 athletes are slated to compete: 21 men, 33 ladies and 18 ice dance teams.

Reigning World junior champion, Alexandra Trusova, headlines the ladies field. The 14-year-old recently debuted her new, multi-quad long program at the Russian junior test skates. She will be joined by Kseniia Sinitsina, another talented junior from the Eteri Tutberidze school, who will make her international debut at this competition.

Canada′s Joseph Phan leads the men′s field in Kaunas. The 17-year-old Montréal native narrowly missed a berth at the 2017 Grand Prix Final and was fourth at the 2018 World Junior Championships, so he will be in the hunt for a place at the Final this season, which will take place in December on home soil in Vancouver. Andrew Torgashev of the U.S. will also be chasing a realistic podium finish. He placed fifth in his first event in Bratislava.

The ice dance field is wide open and the podium up for grabs at this competition. Irina Ushakova and Maxim Nekrasov from Russia placed fifth at the 2017 Junior Grand Prix Final and are the top-ranked team in this discipline.

2018 JGP Lithuania will be live streamed on the ISU YouTube channel except in those countries with TV/online rights holders. Check your local listings for times and dates in your region.
