At te conclusion of the 2021 U.S. Championships in mid-January, U.S. Figure Skating announced its team for the 2021 World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden, March 22-28:

The athletes who will represent Team USA in the 2020-2021 season have been announced. Selection for assignment to the Team Envelope is based on approved criteria and results from the previous season. The Team Envelope is used to determine funding amounts and other privileges.
The U.S. Figure Skating Athlete Support (ASUPP) Fund financially supports the U.S. Team envelope A, B and C athletes by assisting them with their skating expenses.
Team envelopes are determined by the following criteria for singles, pairs and ice dance:
In addition to the funding above, athletes are eligible to receive prize money depending on placement and type of international event. The following international competitions include prize money:
- ISU Junior Grand Prix Series
- ISU Grand Prix Series
- ISU Junior Grand Prix Final and Grand Prix Final
- ISU Championship Events
TEAM ENVELOPE CRITERIA
On August 6, U.S. Figure Skating announced the dates and venues for the new “Championships Series,“ which will replace the regionals and sectional competitions this season. Skaters can compete in two of the eight scheduled events in the location of their choice. Qualification for the 2021 U.S. Championships will be based on the highest scores and not on where a skater places in a competition.

U.S. COMPETITIONS
The 2020 Glacier Falls Summer Classic is scheduled to take place Oct. 30 – Nov. 1 in Anaheim, California. Skate Canada has, for the first time in memory, sanctioned this event. That opens the door to give Stephen Gogolev — who trains in Los Angeles — an opportunity to compete. He is the only top Canadian skater currently training in the U.S. Organizers will provide a free live stream. Spectators will be limited and an admission fee will be charged for those who wish to attend (details are in the link).
