Kristi Yamaguchi and Brian Boitano co-hosted Yamaguchi’s annual “Golden Moment” fundraiser on September 4, in San Jose, California, which boasted an all-star cast that spanned generations.
In 2012, Yamaguchi’s Always Dream Foundation launched “Always Reading” as our core program to connect children with e-books and 21st century technology in both the classroom, home environments and through community events. Funds raised from this annual show go towards developing that initiative.
This year celebrated a milestone for Yamaguchi personally — the 25th anniversary of her gold medal moment in Albertville, France, in 1992. Yamaguchi and friends created their own “Golden Moments” on ice at this show.
