Boyang Jin of China was slated to compete at this event, but has withdrawn from both Grand Prix assignments.

South Korea′s Young You will be aiming for the top step of the podium, following on the heels of her silver-medal finish at the 2022 U.S. International Figure Skating Classic. Rika Kihira of Japan is scheduled to make a return to competition after being sidelined last season with a foot injury.

Other potential podium contenders include Germany′s Alisa Efimova and Rueben Blommaert, Brooke Macintosh and Benjamin Mimar of Canada and  Emily Chan and Spencer Howe of the U.S.

Canada′s Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier headline the ice dance event, with their main challengers being Great Britain′s Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson.
